A dose of BBC depression
Just when you thought things were getting better, you turn on the telly and watch Breakfast Television and are then subjected to a dose of depression the likes of which no other channel indulges in. Their ‘financial experts’ one of whom, the big Australian, has to be on speed as he jumps about the studio so much while gleefully telling us how bad things are. If we were to believe this propaganda guff from the BBC we would be forgiven if we rushed out and bought the razor blades at the nearest shop. Things are never as bad as the they portray, interest rates are at their lowest, petrol prices are falling, food and clothing is cheaper, house prices are fantastic for buyers and yet the BBC will not report this in any great detail. They take great delight in telling us how bad things are but never dwell on the improvement in the market. Why should we pay our television licence to the BBC for them to depress the life out of the nation in the morning. Consumer confidence should not rely on this channel eventually telling us things are getting better, what we should do is switch over to the other side and get a balanced view point.
